How to cite content in IUPUI ScholarWorks
Tips for citing content:
- Use the citation format appropriate to the type of content, discipline, and publisher.
- Use the PERMANENT LINK on the item's landing page, rather than the URL displayed in your browser. A handle (formatted as https://hdl.handle.net/1805/...) is always available and is a permanent link.
- For some items, a DOI (format: https://doi.org/10.7912/...) is also available and is an alternate permanent link. You can use crossref's DOI citation formatter to create a citation in a wide range of formats.
- Do not link directly to individual files; these are not persistent URLs.
