Request Items Using "Request This" and InterLibrary Loan
If you can't find what you need in our collection through IUCAT, IU Indianapolis libraries let you request off-campus materials in two different ways:
- First, if the material is not listed in Indianapolis, but is in another library in the IU system, use "Request This" from IUCAT. Materials take 4-7 days to arrive. You will be emailed when your book(s) arrive and they can be picked up at the Service & Information Desk on the 2nd Floor of University Library.
- If you can't find what you're looking for in IUCAT, use InterLibrary Loan. We'll do our best to find a library that will send the items you need. You will be emailed when your materials arrive, which can also be picked up at the Service & Information Desk on the 2nd Floor of University Library.
