IU Indianapolis's Accessible Educational Services (AES) approves accommodations for students with disabilities and works with university partners to implement those accommodations. AES strives to ensure that students have equal opportunities to pursue a college education, while also ensuring a high level of academic integrity is maintained. AES acts as a liaison office between students and professors, ensuring students and the IUPUI community understand and promote important legislation like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, to name a few. They offer multiple assistive technologies and accommodation services, including note takers, readers, electronic versions of textbooks and more.

The Assistive Technology and Accessibility Centers (ATAC) serves Indiana University students, faculty and staff with and without disabilities by providing access to specialized assistive technologies that help with reading, writing, studying, and information access.

IU Indy's Division of Student Affairs (DSA) exists to provide students with as many opportunities and resources as possible to make sure their college experience is a rewarding one. From leadership opportunities and student organizations to health and wellness services, the Division of Student Affairs provides students with a variety of things to do or take advantage of to make their time outside of the classroom rewarding. The DSA also has a Student Advocacy service that can help support students on a more personal and specific way.
