Day 4 Research Impact Challenge: Sign-in IUPUI ScholarWorks and deposit your research work

Welcome to day 4 of the Research Impact Challenge. Today we will focus on IUPUI ScholarWorks, the IUPUI institutional repository.
 

 

IUPUI ScholarWorks (SW) is an open-access platform provided by the campus for depositing and sharing your scholarly work, including presentations, posters, and other types of scholarly output.

IUPUI SW provides you with a persistent web link for your scholarly product, allowing it to be more easily found, read, and cited by others; Google Scholar and other search engines also index items here. Availability in IUPUI SW will provide greater dissemination of your research than traditional journals or personal websites can. IUPU SW also allows you to assign a Creative Commons License to your work, enabling you to retain copyright to your intellectual property (if you have it in the first place). 

 

Challenge:

Submit an item to a Collection in Scholarworks:

  • Follow the instructions provided in the handout to deposit a document in the institutional repository.
  • Once your submission has been accepted and archived in IUPUI ScholarWorks, you can access and share your work with this stable link provided.
