Environmental & Natural Resources Law

Indiana

Indiana environmental statutes are found in Indiana Code Title 13 (Enviroment). Because environmental law is so highly regulated, it is also helpful to know that the Indiana Adminstrative Procedures Act is found in Indiana Code Title 4.

In addition to statutes, you must know the regulations as well. Environment-related regulations are found in many sections of the Indiana Adminstrative Code, available for free at the Indiana government website. You can search by term, but becasue the language of regulations is sometimes obscure, make full use of the table of contents as well.
