If you're looking for some assistance with writing assignments, the Academic Resource Center (ARC) offers free tutoring services in LC1620 within the library.  Tutors in the ARC can help you plan, organize and revise your working outlines, papers, reports and presentations to better address the assignment, your audience and ensure appropriate context.  You do not need to make an appointment to work with a tutor to identify key areas in your writing that can be improved.

The University Library of Columbus often recommends the Purdue University Online Writing Lab (OWL) for quick assistance with writing mechanics.  The OWL is a comprehensive source for information on the writing process, punctuation and citation style, among other composition topics.
