I Am Looking For A Specific Article

1a. Search OpenILL.

Enter the article title in the search box. If we have access to the full-text, a link will be provided. If we don't have access, try #1b (Google Scholar) OR see #3.

(Note: You can access OpenILL from the Library Home Page > InterLibrary Loan.)

1b. Search Google Scholar.

If you search on campus, come through the Library Database Page, or if you are using your computer and have added IU Indianapolis Libraries to your Google Scholar Library Links, look for the Find It @ IU Indy link to the right of the article title.

2. Search in the E-Journals List for the publication in which the article appeared.

If you don't find the article in Google Scholar, but you know the journal title or other citation information, search for the publication in the library e-journal list (Library Home Page > Journals > Journal List) or Citation Linker (Library Home Page > Articles > Advanced Search). If you locate the publication, you can then search within it for the article.

3. If we do not have the article in online, request it through Interlibrary Loan. Do not pay for individual articles - you are already paying for access with your IU Indianapolis tuition.
