I Need To Checkout Or Renew Library Materials

Check Out Items: You can check out books at the 2nd floor Services & Information Desk in University Library. You'll just need your Crimson Card.

 

Renew Items

Most library materials can be renewed online if you are an IUPUI student, faculty, or staff. To see a list of materials you have checked out, due dates, and items on hold, go to IUCAT and click on "Login/My Account."

Reserve materials: must be renewed in person at the library where they were checked out.

 

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Materials: To request a renewal, please use the 'View/Renew Checked out Items' feature of your InterLibrary Loan (ILLiad) account. You may also contact ulill@iu.edu or 274-0500.

 

If you do not have an IU network ID, renew materials:

  • in person at the Services & Information Desk on the 2nd floor of University Library
  • by phone: 317-274-0472
  • by email: renewal@iu.edu
    (Include your name, address, Library Identification Number (the numbers on the barcode on your borrower's card), and the barcode/identification number of each item to be renewed. You may ask that all your items be renewed, in which case you do not need to provide barcodes for each item.)
