The affiliation(s) you list when you submit an article can be an important piece to claiming your work. Your department may want to track publications to promote your work both internally and externally!
Finding publications written by IUSM authors is much easier if everyone uses a uniform standard of author affiliation. You may have more than one affiliation. You can list more than one!
Your affiliation should be in order from most specific to most broad. Think of this from smallest to largest.
