This guide is designed to be used by IU School of Medicine and IU Indianapolis users who have access to DynaMedex.

Mobile

1. Speech-to-text (Mobile app):  Click on the microphone in the search box to utilize speech-to-text:
    


2. Search page text (Mobile app):  After clicking on a topic, search quickly for a word, test, or concept.by:
   1. clicking on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner
   2. clicking on Find in Page and typing the term to search
      


3. Search for drugs (Mobile): DO NOT search for drugs using Drugs icon.  That only searches generic names. Instead, search drugs using the DynaMedex search box so you can search brand, generic, or chemical names.
   

Desktop:

1. Search topic text (Desktop): after clicking on a topic, use Find in topic (all sections) search box (bottom left of page) to search a word, test, or concept in that topic.


2. Search for drugs (Desktop): DO NOT search for drugs using Drugs A-Z.  That only searches for generic names. Instead, search drugs using the DynaMedex search box so you can search brand, generic, or chemical names.
