If you need a more focused search, look for upper left link Subject Terms. Look for lower box labeled "Browsing: Academic Search Premier -- Subject Terms". Add a single word concept such as Nanotechnology. Follow the numbered steps below for General Science Abstracts, beginning with step 3.

Search by topic for articles from multiple magazines and journals. These range from specialized journal articles to readable magazine articles.

From the opening page of the database, do a keyword search.

Or, if you need a more focused search:

1. click upper left link Thesaurus.

2. Look for lower box labeled "Browsing: General Science Abstracts... -- Thesaurus ". Add a single word concept such as Nanotechnology.

3. Click Browse. Scroll down to see and consider a variety of more specific topics related to nanotechnology. You can select one of these using its check box.
In some cases, you may see additional related terms by using the "Next" or "Previous" links.

4. Use the Add icon to "add to search". Click the green Search icon at the top of the page.
