Hosts a program of research, consultation, support and teaching through the work of faculty investigators from the IU School of Medicine, IU Indianapolis, the Fairbanks School of Public Health, and the McKinney School of Law.
UNESCO – as the lead UN agency in bioethics - has been promoting universal bioethical norms and principles, and assisted countries in the translation of those principles to concrete policy outcomes for their citizens.
The WMA provides a forum for its member associations to communicate freely, to co-operate actively, to achieve consensus on high standards of medical ethics and professional competence, and to promote the professional freedom of physicians worldwide.
