The RLML Librarians are at the forefront of their profession and activity contribute to the library & information research base. In fact, in 2024

  • Our librarians published 17 peer review papers.
  • Research Impact Librarian, Mirian Ramirez received first place in the Complex Visualization category of the 2024 NNLM Data Visualization Challenge 
  • A proposal to create an open science lesson on effectively utilizing ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) developed by our Research Team was accepted as part of a competitive IMLS grant awarded by the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program through UCLA Libraries.
