Evidence Clearinghouses

Evidence clearinghouses are collections of programs, policies, and interventions that have been reviewed, organized, and sometimes rated in terms of levels of evidence.

When selecting an intervention or program, consider:

  • Population alignment: is it relevant to your population of interest?
  • Scale: was the study done locally or is it nationally representative?
  • Outcomes: a program may only be effective for the outcomes specified, and could have unintended consequences on other outcomes not measured.
