Evidence clearinghouses are collections of programs, policies, and interventions that have been reviewed, organized, and sometimes rated in terms of levels of evidence.
When selecting an intervention or program, consider:
- Population alignment: is it relevant to your population of interest?
- Scale: was the study done locally or is it nationally representative?
- Outcomes: a program may only be effective for the outcomes specified, and could have unintended consequences on other outcomes not measured.
