What is this guide?

This guide provides a very brief introduction to creating a digital stories with Adobe Premiere. It will cover the basics of importing still images into the program and adding audio tracks. Links to additional resources for creating digital stories and further tutorials on Adobe Premiere are also provided.

 

Where can I use Adobe Premiere?

All public computers in University Library have Adobe Premiere Pro installed on them. As an IU student, faculty, or staff member, you can download Adobe Premiere Elements or Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes Adobe Premiere Pro, for free from IUWare.

You can download Adobe Premiere Elements or get a product key for the Adobe Creative Cloud, which contains Premiere Pro. Here is some information on how to install Creative Cloud.

The Rich Media Cluster, located on the 4th floor, supports IUPUI students, faculty and staff for their research and scholarly work, particularly multimedia project work, by providing cutting-edge technology spaces. You can use high-end video & audio software to create stunning content for multiple formats & devices. In addition, you can digitize VHS tapes or convert them to DVDs and etc.
